CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR STATUS AS A TRADE CUSTOMER OR STOCKIST OF AMETECH PRODUCTS

The following conditions govern acceptance of your status as a trade customer or stockist of Ametech Products including RESTORE Engine Restorer & Lubricant. Any trader or stockist discovered to be breaking these terms and conditions will have trade/stockists privileges withdrawn immediately.

  1. You must be a bona-fide business trader and must not be buying product for your own personal use alone.
  2. You must have business premises with a trade counter accessible to the general public.
  3. You must not sell any products purchased from Ametech (Engine Restore UK Limited) on eBay or any other on-line marketplace. We may, however, approve our products for sale on an e-commerce business website, but this will be at our discretion.
  4. You must inform us immediately if you cease trading.
  5. The trade names Ametech and American Technology are not to be used to advertise, promote or sell any product without the express and written consent of Engine Restore UK Limited.
  6. Copyrighted material is not to be reproduced or used without our prior permission.
  7. False or misleading claims are not to be made about any Ametech product.
  8. Engine Restore UK Limited reserves the right to withdraw trade/stockist status and privileges at any time.

RESTORE ENGINE RESTORER & LUBRICANT

Please read carefully the instructions we send you with RESTORE Engine Restorer & Lubricant before commencing treatment. In particular, never use RESTORE with friction-reducing oils or plant Esters or in the fuel tank of engines requiring a petroil mix.

RESTORE is not a quick-fix for mechanical problems such as bad or broken valves, rings or seals, cracked cylinder walls or heads etc. nor is it a substitute for regular maintenance i.e. oil and filter changes at the recommended intervals. It is a technological innovation that fights the aging effects of friction and wear. Please obtain a fault diagnosis from a motor technician if you have a problem that you are looking for RESTORE to fix before you commence treatment so that your expectations for RESTORE are not unrealistic.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

Ametech RESTORE and MPC products are all backed by our 90 day money back guarantee. We have such confidence in these products and their abilities to improve, enhance and protect the performance of the vehicle or machinery, that we will give your customer their money back if they are not happy with the results after 1000 miles (or 20 hours) of use. This guarantee applies to the first unit of any product purchased, providing it has been used in accordance with the instructions provided.

If your customer is dissatisfied with any Ametech product, please ask them to call the Ametech Technical Helpline on 01728 726620 in the first instance for advice. A series of questions will be asked to validate any claim under the Money Back Guarantee, so the customer should be prepared to give as much detail as possible about the vehicle and their reasons for purchasing the product in question. We may require evidence of the mileage covered since adding Engine Restorer to the engine, so we ask customers to retain fuel receipts and/or take a date recorded photo of their milometer both before treatment and prior to submitting their claim. Customers must retain their original receipt indicating the place and date of purchase, the product description and the price paid, as they will be required to present this to validate their claim.

Customers may be given the option of more product free of charge in place of a refund if their prime concern is to fix their engine.

This Guarantee applies to one unit purchase per product only and one refund request per lifetime, individual, family or address. Multiple product purchases do not apply and will not be honoured. Requests for refunds under the money-back guarantee will not be entertained more than 90 days after the date of purchase.

Only purchases made in the UK for consumption within the UK are covered under the Money Back Guarantee.

MINIMUM ORDER

The minimum order value we will accept on this website is £10.00.

RETURNS POLICY

Refunds will be given on unopened products returned to us within 14 days of receipt in the original packaging (but not on return postage and packing charges).

DAMAGED GOODS

All faulty/damaged goods, errors and omissions must be reported to us by phone or email within 48 hours of receipt. If it is obvious that the package has been damaged in transit, please keep the packaging as this may be needed as evidence in a claim against the carrier. If we ask you to return an item which is damaged or faulty we will refund the return postage costs. Please return goods using a trackable delivery service such as recorded delivery for your own protection.

VAT CHARGES

Engine Restore UK Limited is registered for VAT. Product prices are shown including VAT. Delivery charges are also subject to VAT, which will be applied and shown in the Shopping Cart. Our VAT registration no. is GB 922 3334 52.

PAYMENTS AND PAYMENT METHODS

Payment on all orders is required prior to dispatch of goods.

We accept payment by the following means:

We accept INSTANT payments through PAYPAL. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL E-CHEQUES because of the inevitable delay they cause in shipping items out to customers while we wait for the e-Cheque to clear, which can take up to 10 days.

If you wish to send a CHEQUE OR POSTAL ORDER, please make it payable to Engine Restore UK Limited and send it to Engine Restore UK Limited, The Technology Centre, Station Road, Framlingham, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP13 9EZ. Please note that orders paid for by cheque will not be dispatched until the funds have cleared to our account, which could take up to 5 working days.

If you wish to pay by BACS, please follow the instructions shown on screen to make your payment.

DISCOUNT CODES

Only one discount code or voucher code to be used in conjunction with any one order. Entering more than one discount code in the shopping cart will invalidate the order.

LOYALTY POINTS

Loyalty Points are awarded on each order Completed on this website. By Completed we mean the order has been placed, paid for and acknowledged by us as Order Status Complete and item dispatched.

One Loyalty Point will be awarded for each £1 spent on product cost (excluding delivery charges). Once 50 points have accrued on your customer order record, these can be redeemed against future orders to the value of 4p (£0.048 including vat) for each point accrued.

Loyalty Points are valid for up to 12 months. This is based on the last order date, so every new order will extend the validity of the points for this amount of time. So, for example, if you have 100 points which expire next month, but you place an order today, it will extend the validity of the first 100 points, plus your new points, for another 12 months.

Loyalty Points are non-refundable and cannot be transferred, sold or traded in any way. Loyalty Points are not redeemable for cash.

We will be entitled at any time to cancel the Loyalty Points awarded if the order to which such award relates is cancelled for any reason or the goods returned under the Returns Policy or the Money Back Guarantee evoked and a refund of the purchase price is given.

We reserve the right at any time without notice to: (a) terminate or withdraw the Loyalty Point scheme; (b) make changes/amendments to the terms, including the level of reward offered and any promotional offers; (c) cancel, withdraw or reduce/increase a customer's Loyalty Points based on reasonable grounds. Reasonable grounds include: (i) errors or omissions on our part in the allocation or redemption of Loyalty Points; (ii) any abuse or attempted abuse of the points system; (ii) any suspicion of dishonesty on the part of the customer in connection with the Loyalty Points scheme.

DELIVERY

Our delivery charges are based on the following factors:

  • the total weight of the products in each parcel
  • resultant charges levied by the delivery service being used.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday only. Orders placed after 12 noon on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday (providing this is not a bank holiday).

We use several different postal services and couriers to deliver orders to our customers. We will make the choice of who carries your parcel at our discretion and this will depend upon the size/weight of the parcel, the delivery method you have chosen at the checkout, the timeliness and reliability of the service in relation to your requirements and any prohibitions imposed upon us by the carrier (e.g. by weight or types of goods).

The two most important features of your delivery address are the house number or name and the correct postcode. All postal delivery companies use the postcode to locate the correct street/road; the number or name of the property are obviously essential to ensure that you, and not someone else, receive your parcel. If you give the incorrect house no. or postcode on your order, however small the mistake, it will have a severe impact on the time of delivery. We cannot be held responsible for any mistakes that buyers make with regard to addresses.

You will be required to sign for parcels upon receipt, so please make sure someone will be around during the day, at the address you have given, to receive the parcel. If no-one is in, a card will be left asking you to pick-up from the local sorting office or to call the delivery agents to arrange re-delivery; if the item is not picked up or delivery rearranged in a timely manner, the parcel will be returned to us. We have no other option, under these circumstances, but to pass on to you any charges levied by the delivery agents for returning parcels to us and for any subsequent re-delivery to you.

We may, at our discretion, dispatch your order as more than one parcel where it is more economical to do so or to comply with weight restrictions imposed by the carrier.

VAT at the current rate is applied to any shipping charges in the Shopping Cart.

Where we make delivery charges, these cover both postage and packing and are subject to UK VAT. We take care to pack our customers parcels well, using professional packing materials appropriate to the nature of product being carried & we aim to dispatch orders on a daily basis, Monday to Friday.

FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY

UK Mainland Express delivery is free of charge to all mainland addresses in the UK on orders with a value of £150 or more excluding Vat. Mainland does not include Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands or Highlands and Islands of Scotland, postcodes HS1-9, IV1-36, IV40-49,IV51-56, KA27-28, KW1-3, KW5-17, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17- 26, PH30-44,PH 49-50, ZE1-3. If you choose this method of delivery your order will most likely be sent by UKMail courier's 48hour service , depending on the weight of the parcel, and should arrive within 2-3 working days although this is not guaranteed. If you haven't received your parcel within 3 days of our notice of dispatch, please call us for tracking information.

UK EXPRESS DELIVERY OPTIONS

If you choose and pay for any of the following timed delivery services, your order will reach you within the times specified PROVIDED your order is placed and payment received by 12 noon for same day shipping. If your order is received after 12 noon, it will be dispatched the next working day. If you order is placed and paid for before 12 noon on a Friday and you have chosen Next Day delivery, it will be delivered the following Monday (providing this is not a bank holiday).

Deliveries will be made at anytime between 8am and 7pm on working days (Monday to Friday only). We cannot be more specific about delivery times. The courier will make all efforts necessary to deliver your parcel within the time frame specified, but occasionally there will be delays due to unforseen circumstances which are totally outside our control.

UK Highlands & Islands delivery is a guaranteed 2-3 working days service to the following postcodes: HS1-9, IV1-36, IV40-49,IV51-56, KA27-28, KW1-3, KW5-17, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17- 26, PH30-44,PH 49-50, ZE1-3.

N.I., Isle of Man & Scilly Isles delivery is a guaranteed 1-2 working days services to addresses in Northern Ireland, Isle of Man & Scilly Isles.

UK Next Day delivery is a guaranteed Next Day delivery service to most addresses on the UK Mainland and does not provide Next Day delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands or Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Next Day delivery is NOT guaranteed to the following postcodes, which will be delivered within TWO WORKING DAYS if the UK Next Day delivery option is chosen:
